About
Design Rooted in Listening.
Every space I create begins not with a sketch, but with a conversation. I want to understand how you live before I ever pick up a pencil.
A Practice Built on Curiosity
I've always been drawn to the way a room can make you feel — the way light falls across a particular surface, the way a chair invites you to stay. That instinct led me to interior design, and two decades of practice have only deepened my belief that the best spaces are the ones that feel inevitable.
Storer Designs grew out of a simple conviction: that great design is never imposed. It's discovered through careful listening, honest conversation, and a genuine curiosity about the people who will live and work in a space.
I work with a small, select group of clients at any given time — residential and commercial — across New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania. That intentional pace means every project receives my full attention, from the first conversation to the final styling.
Philosophy
The Listening-First Approach
"The room should tell your story, not mine."
We start with questions, not answers
Before any concept is developed, I spend time understanding how you actually use your space — your daily rhythms, your relationships, what makes you feel at ease.
Beauty and function are inseparable
A beautiful room that doesn't work for your life isn't a success. Every design decision balances aesthetic intention with practical reality.
Restraint is a form of respect
I believe in editing ruthlessly. The right ten pieces will always outperform twenty that almost work. Simplicity, when it's earned, is the highest form of luxury.
The process should feel good
Designing your home or workspace should be enjoyable — not stressful. I work to make every stage of the process clear, collaborative, and even a little fun.
